The Film and TV Department at Adelaide College of the Arts (AC Arts) is offering writers a terrific opportunity to have their script or short story made into a high quality film for free.
Third year advanced diploma screen students will produce the short films in late 2013, and all writers whose scripts are produced will be invited to a screening of the completed films.
This is a professional development opportunity for writers, as films from previous years have been broadcast and nominated for multiple national and international film festival awards.
Submissions must be concise, visual and engaging, with characters who articulate their goals and emotions through their actions as well as dialogue.
They must also have strong plots with a clear set-up, escalations, turning point, climax and resolution.
Film scripts between three and thirty minutes and short stories up to 3,000 words may be submitted to the department for consideration.
